Back in the Mitten

It’s been quite a whirlwind, moving across the country after returning from Austria. One week in and I’m already somewhat back in the saddle. Having been in Michigan two days, I played my first gig last week, reuniting with my comrades in The Elevator Conspiracy. I’m very excited to rejoin them on the artistic front lines, fighting the good fight for mid-Michigan. I’m also back to collaborating full time (and in the same city!) with my friend and partner Matt Borghi. More information can be found at our new Teag & PK website.

I’ve already added a number of dates to the itinerary – September quickly filled up! – and have also updated the Projects section of the website. More updates will be coming soon. (For easy notification, please subscribe via RSS.)

Back. And leaving again.

I just returned from my month abroad teaching for MSU. It was a wonderful experience, and I plan to discuss a few experiences/thoughts over at MT-Headed soon enough.

Big news on the home front, as I’ll be moving back to the greater Lansing area in just a couple weeks. For those in the Houston area, I’ll be playing a late-night set at Dan Electro’s this Friday at midnight with Zentropy. And for those in the mitten, I’ll be playing with West Michigan Symphony (formerly West Shore Symphony Orchestra) in September. More gigs may pop up between those two; please check back at the Itinerary page for more info.

Upcoming Shows (last minute)

Zentropy has booked a last-minute show at a great local venue. This coming Saturday (05.07), we’ll be playing at Houston’s Last Concert Cafe. It’s a great venue – Houston’s premiere location for jam bands. It’ll be just us, 10:00 PM – 1:00 AM. There’ll be a small cover, check their website for more details.
