Michael has years of experience teaching students from beginning saxophonists to university students of all majors. He served as Instructor for Michigan State University’s Office of Education Abroad, teaching music appreciation with a focus on opera each summer in Bregenz, Austria. He was also Adjunct Professor of Music at Spring Arbor University, teaching music history, saxophone, and music appreciation. While a teaching assistant at MSU he taught music appreciation, African and African American music, and music history.

Mike maintains a private saxophone studio with experience teaching students ranging from beginners to college undergraduates, including coaching chamber ensembles in both classical and jazz styles. Email for rates and availability.
