It&#8217;s notable for a variety of reasons, but primarily because:<br \/>\n1. It&#8217;s the first studio album to not include material from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/LeRoi_Moore\" target=\"_blank\">LeRoi Moore<\/a><br \/>\n2. It marks the return of producer <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allmusic.com\/artist\/steve-lillywhite-mn0000039234\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Lillywhite<\/a> (who produced &#8220;the big three&#8221;: <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Under-Table-Dreaming-Dave-Matthews\/dp\/B000002WQS\" target=\"_blank\">Under the Table and Dreaming<\/a><\/em>, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Crash-Dave-Matthews-Band\/dp\/B000002WYT\" target=\"_blank\">Crash<\/a><\/em>, and <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Before-These-Crowded-Streets-Matthews\/dp\/B00000638Q\" target=\"_blank\">Before These Crowded Streets<\/a><\/em>)<br \/>\n3. It&#8217;s simply a new DMB studio album!<\/p>\n<p>Regular readers know I&#8217;m a DMB fanatic and I&#8217;ve written about the group at length before and in three other MTH-V entries (<a title=\"MTH-V: DMB at SPAC 2012\" href=\"http:\/\/michaelteager.com\/blog\/2012\/06\/12\/mth-v-dmb-at-spac-2012\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, <a title=\"MTH-V: DMB 1992\" href=\"http:\/\/michaelteager.com\/blog\/2012\/02\/21\/mth-v-dmb-1992\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>, and <a title=\"MTH-V: Jeff Coffin w. DMB compilation\" href=\"http:\/\/michaelteager.com\/blog\/2011\/11\/08\/mth-v-jeff-coffin-w-dmb-compilation\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>). Simply enjoy the debut single&#8217;s video (&#8220;Mercy,&#8221; which features much many fan contributions) and get your copy ASAP.
