I&#8217;ve mentioned them in a few posts, as well as writing a <a href=\"http:\/\/michaelteager.com\/blog\/2011\/05\/27\/new-listen-trio-mediaevals-a-worcester-ladymass\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;New Listen&#8221; on their most recent album,\u00a0<em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A Worcester Ladymass<\/span><\/em><\/a>. Their informed, artful renditions of Medieval, traditional, and contemporary works &#8211; both sacred and secular &#8211; are irresistible. Couple that with their partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecmrecords.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">ECM<\/a>, far and away my favorite record label (as also frequently mentioned here), and you have a consistent recipe for success.<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s video is of a performance &#8220;Gjendine&#8217;s Lullaby&#8221; from 2007&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Trio-Mediaeval-Songs-Norwegian-Traditional\/dp\/B000UVRL7O\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Folk Songs<\/em><\/a>,<em>\u00a0<\/em>the first album of theirs I purchased. I was hooked upon first listen &#8211; enough to acquire all of their albums over the next year.
