BIO (full bio here<\/a>)<\/span>:
Michael Teager<\/a> is an experienced performing musician, both as a leader and a sideman. His eclectic taste and interests afford him the flexibility to be comfortable in many different musical environments.<\/p>\n

Mike\u2019s playing has taken him across the nation and around the globe. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University and Michigan State University.\u00a0As an educator, he has served on the faculties of Michigan State University and Spring Arbor University in addition to teaching privately.\u00a0At MSU he was instructor of music for the Office of Study Abroad, teaching music appreciation each summer in Bregenz, Austria. At SAU he taught music history, music appreciation, and saxophone.<\/p>\n

His ambient music collaboration with guitarist\/composer Matt Borghi <\/a>has received praise and regular airplay at home and abroad. Their critically acclaimed albums<\/a> have been featured on\u00a0Hearts of Space<\/em><\/a>, Echoes<\/em><\/a>, Star\u2019s End<\/em><\/a>, and other leading programs. Recordings with various groups and projects, including The Fencemen<\/a>, White Gold Scorpio<\/a>, and more, can be found on various outlets<\/a>, and he regularly performs in myriad settings. Mike also produced and scored Just Answer the Question<\/em><\/a>, a thinking podcast created and hosted by writer, historian, and speaker Alice Dreger<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n
