Michael currently serves as Instructor for Michigan State University‘s Office of Study Abroad, teaching Music Appreciation each summer in Bregenz, Austria. Previously, he was Adjunct Professor of Music at Spring Arbor University, teaching Music Appreciation (“Music Foundations”) and Music History.  While a teaching assistant at MSU he taught Music Appreciation (“Music and Culture”), African and African American Music, and Music History.

Mike has privately taught saxophone for twelve years, with students ranging from beginners to college undergraduates.  He has also coached a number of chamber ensembles in both classical and jazz styles.  For lessons, email for rates and availability.
